Joel P. Yanchuck

Mr. Yanchuck is one of the most well known lawyers in the Tampa Bay Area having served the community for almost forty years.

A native of St. Petersburg and a graduate of the University of Florida and Cumberland School of Law he began his career as an assistant prosecutor in 1968.

He then moved into private practice where he defended criminal cases and represented victims of injury claims.

In 1978 he became the senior partner in the firm establishing Yanchuck and Thompson in downtown St. Petersburg.

Since then he has established a reputation for successful negotiation of injury claims through the mediation process.

This accomplishment was honed by years of courtroom experience, a thorough knowledge of the adjusters in the insurance community, and careful preparation.


Ira E.  Berman

Ira E. Berman

Mr. Berman, a native of Staten Island in New York came to Florida to attend the University of Miami where he graduated in 1973.

He attended Stetson University College of Law and after graduation in 1976  went to work for the Pinellas State Attorney's office where he became one of the lead prosecutors in major felonies with over 200 jury trials.

He joined the firm in 1980 and developed an extensive criminal defense practice accumulating 25 years of more jury trial experience in all types of criminal charges.

He is chief of the pre-litigation department in the firm and regularly meets with clients, advising them on strategy, and progress of their cases.

He maintains continuous contact with insurance adjusters in an effort to achieve a swift and fair resolution of every clients injury claim.

W. Thomas Wadley

Mr. Wadley is a native of Tampa, Florida  and attended Auburn University and Stetson University College of Law where he graduated in 1981.

He obtained a board certification in criminal trial practice from the Florida Bar in 1994, was certified a criminal trial specialist by  the National Board of Trial Advocacy in 1998 and is AV@ rated by the Martindale-Hubbell  peer review rating.

Mr. Wadley has been with the firm twice; first from 1984 to 1990 and then from 1995 to the present.

He has tried jury trials in both state and federal courts, and has briefed and argued appeals in state and federal appellate courts as well.

His jury trial experience in both civil and criminal cases ranges from car accidents to complex white collar crime.

Angela A. Zervos

Ms. Zervos, a native of Brooklyn, New York, has resided in Florida since 1985. Fluent in Greek, she has established strong ties to the local community.

She graduated from the University of South Florida in 1992 and Stetson University College of Law in 1996. She joined the Public Defender's office in Pinellas County in 1997 where she stayed until joining the firm in 1998.

Ms. Zervos has over forty jury trials in both criminal defense and civil accident claims. Her organizational skills and tenacious approach in support of her clients make her a valuable asset to the firm.

Angela is a member of the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association, Florida Association of Justice Workers, American Association for Justice, American Bar Association, and she is admitted to the Middle District of Florida.  She manages both the Tarpon Springs and Spring Hill offices.
